I figured I am probably one of the last few to have caught the show. ): But I still gotta say it was a not bad chick flick worth my 7 bucks of which I've not returned whoever paid lastnight yet! Haha (okay not exactly. more like a fairytale cum drama cum musical movie. haha) Amy Adams did an awesome job with the real challenging role that required her to "constantly have that graceful and 'geked'-smile look" hahahha. And Patrick Dempsey(drools) with his ever charming smile (: Has been a while since I've caught him on Grey's anatomy! And Jon McLaughlin's song (So close) at the ending just totally made me melt. (I'm liquid. Gonna vaporize soon. Haha)
Interestingly although the show was talking about fairytales and happily ever afters, it also potrayed a distorted fairytale where the prince didn't marry the princess in the end. And that there was 'no happily ever after' for Nancy and Philip (in the show) who are humans who live on planet earth. So are they saying that there are no happily ever afters in the real world? Only when you meet your other half from a fairytale, and only then you can have true love? Hahahaha, okay I'm confusing myself alot.
Watch "Secret" on the same day which baffled me as well! ( I am definitely that I am the last person who have not watched it cept Jocelyn Dot and Et of which I watched it with) It was confusing. Not cause' we're dumb but cause' we're TOO smart ( Bahaha, according to jocelyn). *Inside joke about how only ah lians will go "aww, so sweet" without analysing and critiquing as much as the smart ppl (ehem) would do. (A, now you know the inside joke too! Which makes it an outside joke now. Ps: Am I getting john's lameness??) Hahaha! Okay, we were just trying to comfort ourselves cause' we seemed not to get so many things. We're deep okay... Hah.
Oh and we (Et dot and I) stayed ystd night up to finish all the coloring of the bookmarks for the east timor people! So proud of ourselves (: Thanks joces' for helping in the afternoon too, we had fun right right!
Okay, I shall go hibernate for awhile now while waiting for dance prac later for the east timor trip. No work, no school, lalalalalalalala. :D :D
