Bear with Esther's expression disabilities aye!

Expectancy- That'd be the best word to describe how I'm feeling now! ;)

I'm expecting. (Not in that sense!) But thinking of it, why is a "pregnant lady" also called "someone who's expecting" ? A mother-to-be knows for sure she's gonna give birth to something(the baby, duh) and as she waits for that day, she expects. She expects with such excitement, with such faith, hope and joy. She prepares herself for that day. She forces tonics down her throat, she talks and sings to the baby, buys a lifetime supply of diapers and cute baby mittens and does 101 other things, preparing for the arrival of her baby. Her excitement is so intense that the people around her very often able to catch her spirit of "expectancy".

Just as the mother expects a baby, I'm expecting God to birth something new in all who are expectant this week! Just as she prepares herself for the arrival of the baby, we too, I feel, have to prepare our hearts for what God's about to do (: Seems like Des's blog series on "The New Day" has sparked something in me too. (So, des is the pregnant one! Hahaha)

I don't know if I made myself understandable but I thought wow, I never looked at it that way, ever. Okay, but if you didn't get me, you wouldn't get how I'm looking at it now. Hahaha! I'm tired. I often envy those who are able to pen down their thots & feelings so well- where language ,vocab, grammar and all that crap doesn't get in the way. It irks me sometimes that I've got this stupid expression problem in writing! Its like doing injustice to the beauty of language. Its like I've got so much to say, but I don't know how to say it. Oh well, but no, point is.. Haha.

Something is about to burst forth. Do you feel it coming too?

Expectant :D

Worship Camp on thurs! Yay.
