HELLO WORLD! SCREAMS* I'm back!
We've survived the media fast! One whole month of it. I'm truly amazed as I look back. One month- seems like so many things have happened and so many things have changed. I know, its just one month for goodness sake. But I never knew one month could feel so long... Hahaha
( I can't believe my hair is so long now! Haha, sidetrack. I need to dye my hair. Haha!)
Remember how when I first found out about it, I was so so so saddened by it and all. I guess at that point it meant giving up the things I loved to do, putting relationships at risk (esp those which were pretty much sustained through the virtual world) and putting aside my selfish desires. It seemed like I was putting too much on the line at first. A million "what if"s and "how can I"s. But I guess I had to come to terms with it- I gotta do it, like it or not. And after one month of it, I gotta say that it was all WORTH IT (: Really. What I have seemingly lost in this one month cannot even compare, with what I have gained.
I could say that this month has not only brought me so much closer to God (yay), it has completely revolutionized my perspective of God, and of worship unto Him. It almost seems like I've got a so much "clearer", unclouded access to Him- more than ever before. The God of the entire universe (think about the vastness), chooses to listen and answer me when I simply call upon Him. I mean, seriously, who am I to have such access to the God, the maker of heaven and earth, the God whom I'm gonna meet in heaven one day?! It is indeed such a privilege for me to be even able to call Him my God, much less worship Him. To have connections with the biggest shot ever. Whoa. To be able to serve Him, whoa. To be able to seek Him and actually find Him. It has indeed brought new meaning to my time with God and the things I do for Him. Its not so much of "Alright, I have to do this." anymore, but more of a "Wow, I get to do this!?".
God has been so good to me I can't even begin to say how much He has done for me throughout this time. Not that He hasn't been when I don't fast, but His favor and presence have been so evident that i cannot even deny it. Maybe its really just because I'm more focused this month so I'm more aware of God's presence in my life. And I gotta say its been awesome (: I can go on and on all night bout how great this thingy has been but I shall spare you( and myself). Its 2.30am and I'm so not used to sleeping so late anymore. Haha
Anyway, a shout out to all who are still having exams! Jiayou people :D One more week! And thanks to all who have been msging me before and after my papers, and even those who take time to pray with me! (: I'm truly touched. It matters alot to me! :D Keep praying k. Hahaha I'm left with 3 papers ( 6/5, 7/5, 8/5). 3 months worth of holidays. WOOHOO. I’m quite in the mood already actually: Which is, bad! Haha
