Went over to JB yesterday (since it'd past midnight now) to help help out with Eunice's Spelling Bee Competition Registration Day and all I can say is, "Wow, what a day!" I feel like a pretty much seasoned Malaysia-go-er! We know what buses to take, we know where to take these buses, we know where to go, we know how many times we need to dig our passports out, we know exactly where the toilets at the customs are, we know where the popular-robbery-points are at; let's just say I think I'd be able to go shopping in JB even if I had to go on my own. It's a good thing, definitely. Hehe (: So anyway we set off after breakfast today and yes, we were "going to johor bahru?"(sleazy MRT voice over)! Haha. Trained and bused. Once we reached the Malaysian Customs, the fun for the day officially began! We were welcomed with something that looked like this:
Since it was the Malaysia Customs, the Malaysians had exKlusive quick Klearance. And we (At that moment I really wished we weren't separated from Malaysia), on the other hand, had to survive the humidity, sweaty armpits and body odour for about 2 ish hours before we could get through. But this was all made bearable and fun (still) with great company (: It really makes all the difference! Imagine grumpy menopausal people versus happy 'let's just make good fun out of the situation' people. See (:
Thank God for his protection though. It's amazing I didn't faint and die or puke. I mean seriously, it was no joke! But yes, that shows that I'm well enough now... for bubble tea maybe. HAHAHA And so we made it to Danga Mall! Yipeeyays. Mall's still pretty vacant as not all the shop vendors have moved in but yes, The up and coming The Seed Learning Hub (Eunice's) is on the fourth floor!
The Spelling Bee competition has yet to be conducted but I really think it's such a success already! They've got almost 1000 contestants who signed up! Eunice and her team are really awesome. Really can see the favor of God upon the project. Really opened my eyes to see what simple faith can do. This is indeed a true testament to the school's name- The Seed. You know, faith, and the seed. Reminded me of how it's really not about how small the mustard seed is, but that all it takes for a big tree to grow, is small seed! Thanks for having me there today Eunice, I am blessed! (:

ALSO, I'm so blessed cos... I saw 林峰 today! WAHAHAHA. Have been watching his Hong Kong drama serials alot lately and he happened to be there today. (:
I like this photo. It was so coincidental though!
No matter how hard I tried, my hands took real shaky shots. But whatever la, haha. He's really really good looking in real life! Better than how he looks in shows and MUCH better than how he looks in the posters. Hahaha Super charismatic too (: I like (: (:
I would do that to get through Malaysia customs for Kaya Balls. Not so sure if I'd put myself in such a spot for someone who'd prolly never know of my existence anyway. Hah! Crazy seriously. No wonder stars need fans to survive. If not, super hot lah. Haha Okay, not funny. So anyway he knew I wouldn't go down and jostle my way through the crowd just to take a photo with him so he asked me to wait for him... Till everyone's more or less gone. Cos he wanted to take a photograph with me? So I thought, okay then. Since I'd be around anyway. So yep, here's a candid shot we took together. So sweet right (:

The girls wanted to do a little shopping. While women shop, men and broke women cam-whore. (Esther Foong, 2008)
The sales girl was like staring hard at me. I smiled at her and continued to cam-whore. It wasn't like I was gonna see her again anyway. Oh wait, I've to go back to the same mall next time since Eunice's learning hub is there. Crud.

The way back from JB to Singapore was hilarious. Custom was packed once again, but thank God we cleared outta there quite quickly (relative to this morning's) with much wisdom and strategy. Haha! I think people find our conversations pretty amusing. For like more than 2 times we have people beside us ummchio-ing, some, bursting into laughter and trying hard to turn their faces away from us. (Just so we won't know they've been eavesdropping! Haha I'm sure.) Okay lah, but it's hard to hear someone who's 2 cm away from your face talk, when you're stuck in a major human jam. Haha! My brother was reading someone else's storybook. Yep, that's how close we were at the checkpoints.
Uncultured and rough people never fail to make me upset. When you're trying to get up a bus back to Singapore at about 11pm, you'd see alot of such people, sadly. Well let's just say I had a bag flying into my face! Haha. And for a moment I was so tempted to pull the guy's pants down. Hahaha. We were discussing and analyzing the best way to survive the crowds and evil inconsiderate people since we had ample waiting time and were bored. Hahaha. Ranged from pointing at the person and going tsk tsk tsk to pinching them. HAHA LOL! We're not evil, just need skills for self defense. Haha!
After an entire of squeezing and rubbing butts with i-don't-know-how-many strangers, it feels strange not having to queue in a stuffy place, not having anyone pushing you anymore. Not used to it. I quote jidi: "Push me eh, I'm not used to not being pushed around..." and "Huh? No need to queue?? Why no queue. No sense of accomplishment now. I'm just gonna wait here for awhile." HAHAHAHA. Gosh, I think we've gone mad.
I should go to bed. It's 2am and the rain... is not falling. Okay no link! Haha. Nancy's shop opening, JJ's house warming and gg for a swim later! Eggcited (:
