And we used to think that was cool

I remember how it was like a tradition (bondage perhaps for me to have new-everythings- for school every new year- A new school bag, a new pencil case, new stationeries(Yay to that! You've no idea how I love stationery shopping. The new popular protecting-their-pens-policy is such a bummer! Boo. I love trying my pens and doodling on the rough paper which is prolly non existent anymore.) , a new hairdo (or not, since I think I look the same with my long hair tied up in school no matter how I trim my hair anyway) etc. Like I said, it was a tradition, not anymore. Thank God, harr? Too broke already.

Anyway I was reminded by all these when I had my first lesson with my tuition kid for 2009 last night. She had a new school bag, a new hairdo (She rebonded her hair. goodness, we're talking about a P6 kid here! More vain then me la, I wanted to perm my hair but never did.), and the thing that really caught my eye was... her new pencil case that said, "Plain Lazy", accompanied by several key chains that reiterated the point- "Plain Lazy, plain lazy, plain lazy."

I almost burst out laughing. Yet at the same time my hatred for that particular brand's stuff was brewing. Hahaha I shall not mention the brand name lest I get sued but I'm sure it's infamous enough anyway. I mean seriously, what kind of attitudes are they advocating into young lives?! "Whatever", "You are so lame", "Mind your own business". HAHAHA Seriously? Why would I want that on my pencil case/ my bag? Haha That is just so uncool and wannabe-ish. Hahahaha Okay these people are seriously... so lame. I'm gonna consider buying her a new pencil case. A cool tuition teacher must have a cool tuition kid!! Tsk.

Alright more imptly, I need to go figure out how I'm gonna explain the difference between "who" and "whom" to her now, before I leave for tuition (Which I'm gonna be late for... like AGAIN. Haha) But but but I was so happy assessment-shopping in popular with tecky this morning! We love torturing our tuition kids with assessments. Bahahaha. Evil ;)
