Tragic.
I felt like a 80 year old granny trying to catch up and understand the IT terminologies they were talking about. Today's lesson stirred up a lot of empathy in me, for elderly who take 10 mins to type a sentence. I haven't been to any of the lectures cos: (1) I don't know anyone (Okay not that fantastic excuse) (2) I'm not interested at IT! (3) Actually the issue isn't even about interest. It is that I'm a big fat noob! (I don't even know what's a motherboard. Why can't it be fatherboard anyway?) (3) Class is from 2-4 (Good for naps) (4) Fine, truth is, I'm just plain lazy.
To sorta "redeem" myself, I spent last night trying out the tutorial. And I gave up like 10 mins later since everything seemed like greek to me. Funny thing is, I could only do the weird mathematical sums. Haha. And so I dragged my feet to school today for that pathetic 1 hour tutorial, not even knowing where the school of computing is. Thank God for knowlegeable and kind passerbys. Walked into class wishing for some sort of motivation but found none. (haha) Then, Alicia walked in!!! I screamed la. Haha. Was so happy to just see someone I know. Hehe.
Halfway through the tutorial I felt like I was gonna die from drowning in question marks. I mean, why do these idiotic guys know so much about all these IT stuff. *Debates about XXXX carries on whilst I glued my eyes to the clock. Every second felt like an hour can. I really don't know what I should do man. If I carry on, I'm definitely S/U-ing it, but what if I can't even get a C? So then, should I drop it? But there's so many complications to dropping it. My bidding points, University requirements and all. RWAR. I'm gonna give it my last shot today. I am going to try and read the textbook now and hopefully I understand... something. I just rmbred something- I have procrastinated to start my readings for 4 weeks already. Haven't started on a single one, imagine that? Hoho, great job Esther. Someone needs a whack in the head, seriously.
Lesson Learnt: If you know you're a noob at something, don't go try and be a boon. Why don't we have classes like ettiquete! Like SMU's. That would be so much fun. But I guess I'll fail that anw. Imagine me sneezing during the exam. Haha, that would be a sight.
