Living a dream

Requires hope.

Requires love.

Requires courage.

Requires faith.

I've always loved such visits since secondary school. You learn a lot more that way. Spent the whole morning with this granny and as much as she looks sian in the photo, she's a really cute granny. And I gotta say, she's a real fighter. Could feel all the pain she was going through though she did not mention much. If there is one thing I remembered about her, it would be what she said, "When you fall down, you just gotta pick yourself up. No big deal. " An elderly aged 86 who has the right to worry (much more than I do) if she could ever stand up again if she ever falls, is telling me falling down is "no big deal"? Although she meant it literally, but the spirit behind those words caught me. It's times like that where I wonder what in the world is wrong with me. It was like one tight slap on my face.

I got my placement results. I got posted to FeiYue (CCK). Although the working hours are long (and prolly arduous), I'm psyched about starting my attachment somehow. It's like as if my dream of being a social worker is really coming through. Omw. Haha. (Okay sounds silly I know, but yea, it still feels surreal every now and then.) Can't wait to be with the people, can't wait to learn many more things and yea. Oh God please make me stronger :l I think I'm quite a weakling sometimes. Fine, most of the time.

But yea, I know I'm getting alot of "Tsk"s blogging now when I skipped dinner to come home to do work. I needed to load the photos for inspiration for my essay can! Pray that I can finish this 20 page essay in a miraculous speed. It's due monday. Haha.

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometime courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."
