After like a zillion years of laying in bed, I decided to move my fats a little and so I went swimming yesterday with jidi, fabian, bro and dasao at Jurong East Swimming Complex after nancy's shop opening (: And yes, swimming is the one and only sport I love. Haha. I hate running and everything else that has to do with that. (that's almost every sport, other than swimming haha)
I love swimming on hot days where the weather is just so scorching hot, or when I'm just not feeling so good. But today, I was feeling happy BEFORE I went and the weather was scorching hot BEFORE we reached the pool. I was thinking in terms of "hotday-jumps into cold and clear water- shiok!" But yes, it was afterall a public holiday. The water was... murky. SERIOUSLY murky! Like sea water murky. I feel so nauseous at the thought of it please :S I was so tired of dodging the clumps of hair, dirt particles and random irritating people who swim diagonally (or aimlessly) across the pool while trying to swim. We swam less than 20 laps and left cos yes, it was just so unbearable! Jidi and I wrapped a towel loosely and walked all the way back to her house in our swimsuits to shower. How glamorous. HAHA
I remember the days where I swam almost every other day! Those were the days man(: Where I was so incredibly free... and emo. Haha. I mean, when you swim, you're exercising your limbs but your brain is usually just stoning right? Yea, I would use the time to think of alot alot of things. In fact, many times when I felt stressed/upset/accused/heartbroken, I'd feel a whole lot better after swimming, having sorted my thoughts out in the process. Sometimes I'd just do my devotions for the day when I go for a swim. Like talk to God the whole way (: But obviously I don't bring the bible down into the pool to read lah! LOL. That would be erm... interesting. Hah!
Hope I get to have a proper swim soon! I'm dying to swim... in a clean and unpolluted pool.
