I know you guys must be thinking now: Esther, you don't play the guitar, why would you wanna go watch a guitar concert for 2 whole stinking hours? I'll tell you why, COS' TOMMY EMMANUEL IS SO STINKING GOOD! He's like the world's best, in my opinion. I know: my world is pretty small, I haven't heard many outstanding ones and I don't know the technicalities but all I know is I feel extremely happy when I listen to him play (: The four of us sat upstairs while the rich friends sat downstairs... But we enjoyed ourselves too! Well I really really did (:

Yep, he did many many of our favorite songs! Bro screeched when he did "Those who wait" at the end. And he did my fav right at the beginning! (: He was really awesome. Using his guitar as so many different instruments! There was one point where he did some crazy percussion solo (duh, haha) with his guitar, some brush, the mike and his head! Super good can.
As we exiting the hall after the concert, we heard this guy say, "Is my head still intact with my body? Or is has it been blown away!" HAHA. My sentiments exactly, sir.

I think people with passion are really attractive (: They devote their time, their energy, everything they have towards their passion. They work hard at improving. They are focused and determined. They are willing to pay any price for to see their dream come to pass. You'd know easily what someone's passion is if the person is really passionate, as he/she would prolly be always talking about it to others, spending time, working at it. For Tommy, it's guitar he's passionate about. For jamie, it's dance. For joelleong, it's badminton. For my mum, it's her selling of shoes she devotes her life to. For Da sao, it's Mandarin. They always say, "People die without vision". I think, "People start to live when they find their passion and dare to run with it." What's mine? Hmm. (No wonder I'm so unattractive. BAHAHA)

I wish I could say that about myself. Hehe. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I'm not passionate about God. But sometimes I think I find myself being pretty hmm... passive? So I don't dare to say that about myself just yet!
It's just like how I don't dare say "I am a woman who loves God". Yes I do love Him but 'how much' do I love Him is another question. I feel like if I don't love Him more than I love myself, I don't really dare say I do with all my heart. Haha
